Rehan Shaikh is the President and CEO of Standard Chartered Bank, Pakistan since 2020. Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Saadiq - the Global Islamic Banking business of Standard Chartered.
With over 35 years of diversified, senior multicultural banking experience in the areas of Corporate Relationship Management, Risk Management, Remedial Management, International Trade Finance and Branch Management, Rehan holds a consistent track record of identifying opportunities, building optimal businesses, and developing high performance teams.
Previously, Rehan was associated with Dubai Islamic Bank, UAE as Senior Vice President & Business Head. He has also led Corporate and Institutional Banking team for SCBPL in the past where he successfully managed the integration of SC and ANZ Grindlays. Rehan has also worked at American Express Bank in Pakistan for 12-years. He is on the Management Committee of Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI in the capacity of Vice) and also is a Council member of Institute of Bankers (IBP).
