Amin Mohammad Khowaja is the CEO of J.P. Morgan, Pakistan Pvt Ltd. He joined the firm in February 2007. He works closely with industry and product partners within the Commercial and Investment Banking to bring firm wide expertise and solutions to the clients.
He has to his credit over 32 years of banking experience with multinational banks. His first stint was with Chase Manhattan Bank, Karachi from 1994-1999. In late 1999 he joined Mashreq Bank in the capacity of Head of Financial Institutions Pakistan and later was elevated to Chief Country Representative from 2002-2007.
Amin has been Vice President and Chairman Trade and Industry Sub-committee and Chairman Finance and Taxation Sub-committee of the American Business Council of Pakistan.
On the voluntary and community contribution, Amin is Member National Committee of Aga Khan Foundation Pakistan, Chairman, FOCUS Humanitarian Assistance Pakistan, Director, Silver Jubilee Development Agency and Director, Community Development Foundation. Amin holds two Masters degrees, an M.B.A. in Finance and Masters in Economics.
