Erum Shakir Rahim has a career spanning over 25 years in the pharmaceutical sector. She started her career in the field of media and journalism and later joined GSK Pakistan.
At GSK Pakistan, she held multiple roles in marketing, sales and government affairs; Led the BMS, Stiefel and UCB acquisitions and has launched over 20 assets across oncology, vaccines and specialty medicines.
Since 2013, Erum has held roles such as GM GSK Malaysia and Brunei, MD and GM of GSK Bangladesh and the Developing Countries Asia Cluster, GM Indonesia and VP & GM GSK Pakistan.
She is a member of the Managing Committee of OICCI and Chairperson of Pharma Bureau. She is also the first woman from the subcontinent to be appointed as GM Malaysia, Bangladesh and now Pakistan by GSK.
