OICCI launched its CSR Report 2025 on July 1, 2026, highlighting the significant contribution of its member companies towards sustainable development and community wellbeing across Pakistan.
Welcome remarks were delivered by OICCI SG, M Abdul Aleem who also presented the key findings of the OICCI CSR Report 2025, highlighting the breadth of CSR initiatives undertaken by OICCI member companies and their contribution towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event was emceed by Aleeza Fatima, Research Associate, OICCI.
Subsequently, a panel discussion on "Innovation, Green Entrepreneurship & Strategic Partnerships in CSR" ensued, moderated by CEO ASCF, Director Marketing & Brands, Pakistan Cables & ESG subcommittee member, OICCI, Mariam Durrani featuring , CEO, National Incubation Center (NIC) Karachi, Syed Azfar Hussain; Co-Founder & CEO, Z-Volta, Anusha Shahid and Founder & CEO, Bioniks, Anas Niaz.
The panel explored how innovation, entrepreneurship, and cross-sector collaboration are shaping the future of CSR in Pakistan. The speakers shared the stories behind their organizations, highlighting how their innovative solutions address pressing social and environmental challenges and how they expanded their impact over time.
The event also featured a presentation by Lead Research Officer, Sakina Chakera who highlighted the work and impact of some of the member companies featured in the report.
The session concluded with a keynote address by Dr. Samuel Rizk, Resident Representative, UNDP Pakistan, who appreciated OICCI's initiative in documenting and showcasing the private sector's contribution towards sustainable development. He also commended the panelists for their impactful work and emphasized the importance of innovation, and collaboration.
This was followed by closing remarks from M. Abdul Aleem, Secretary General, OICCI, who reaffirmed the Chamber's commitment to promoting responsible business practices, strengthening strategic partnerships, and showcasing the positive impact of the private sector in Pakistan.
