The Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) and the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) jointly co-hosted a high-level investors’ delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by His Highness Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al Saud, for an interactive session with senior representatives of Pakistan’s leading multinational and local corporations.

The delegation was welcomed at the OICCI by President OICCI Yousaf Hussain, Secretary General M Abdul Aleem, PBC Chairperson Dr. Zeelaf Munir, and PBC CEO Javed Kureishi. The meeting was also graced by the presence of Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, who highlighted that the partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is entering a new phase of strategic cooperation that must now evolve into deeper economic collaboration and shared prosperity.

OICCI Secretary General M. Abdul Aleem stated that the Chamber, representing over 200 multinational companies, continues to serve as a trusted bridge connecting global investors with Pakistan’s evolving economic landscape. He added that Saudi Arabia’s growing interest signifies renewed global confidence in the country’s reform momentum and investment potential. PBC Chairperson Dr. Zeelaf Munir underscored the improving economic outlook and strengthening business sentiment, noting that Pakistan’s recovery is gaining momentum and that Saudi participation could play a crucial role in driving sustainable growth, industrial expansion, and technology-led development.

During the session, CEO Pakistan Agricultural Coalition Kazim M. Saeed presented on “Strategic Agriculture Partnership for Food Security,” CEO FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Kashan Hasan discussed “An Overview of Pakistan’s Dairy Industry,” former OICCI Presidents Atif Bajwa and Ghias-uddin Khan shared insights on “The Pakistan Investment Initiative,” CEO Lucky Electric Power Company Limited Ruhail Mohammad spoke on “The Energy Sector of Pakistan,” and former OICCI President and CFO Jazz Farrukh H Khan presented on “Pakistan: Emerging Digital Powerhouse.”

The high-level meeting was also attended by Advisor to the Finance Minister Khurram Schehzad, Chief Executive (TDAP) Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Ahmad Chadhar, former OICCI Presidents Amir Paracha (Unilever) and Shazad Dada, along with senior leadership from key sectors. Notable participants included Ahmed Zahid Zaheer (Chevron), Irteza ali Qureshi (PARCO - Pak-Arab Refinery Limited), Syed Moonis Abdullah Alvi (K-Electric), Kamran Kamal (The Hub Power Company Limited (HUBCO), Zubair Shaikh (Wafi Energy), Humayun Akhlaq (Schneider Electric), Anis Ahmed (Abbott Laboratories), Kazuhiro "Fred" Tsutsui (Mitsubishi Corporation), Amir syed (Meezan Bank Limited), and and Saquib Shirazi (Atlas Honda Pakistan), among other distinguished representatives.
