British High Commissioner in Pakistan, Karachi Lance Dom and Market Access & Trade Policy Lead Batool Zehra at Foreign visited the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) for an introductory meeting on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. They were welcomed at the Chamber by Secretary General OICCI M Abdul Aleem, Executive Director Kashif Shafi, Ex-officio OICCI and CEO Standard Chartered Bank Rehan Shaikh, Legal Director and Company Secretary, Unilever Aman Ghanchi, Marketing Director Reckitt Benckiser Pakistan Sarah Ahmed, and Research Officer OICCI Javaria Shaikh Ismail.

During the meeting, M. Abdul Aleem delivered a comprehensive presentation on OICCI’s role and activities. The discussion covered key topics such as investment opportunities, challenges faced by investors, the overall business climate in Pakistan, and strategies to attract greater foreign direct investment (FDI). The participants also emphasized the importance of strengthening collaborative efforts between Pakistani and UK stakeholders to enhance trade and economic ties.
