Nestlé Pakistan’s Chief Executive Officer, Joselito “Jason” Avancena, paid a visit to the OICCI on September 21, 2023, accompanied by Muhammad Rahat Hussain, Corporate Manager of Media Relations and Public Affairs at Nestlé Pakistan. During their visit, they had a meeting with M Abdul Aleem, CE/Secretary General, and Kashif Shafi, Executive Director, to address the challenges faced by foreign investors in Pakistan. The primary purpose of their visit was to gain insights from the chamber regarding the current economic situation in Pakistan and its potential impact on businesses. Secretary General appreciated the active involvement of Nestle in various chamber activities.

Jason Avancena sought the OICCI’s perspective on various business-related matters and expressed his support for the OICCI’s efforts in providing a comprehensive and unbiased assessment of the business landscape in Pakistan. He also provided the details of Nestle’s ESG initiatives and how Nestlé is contributing to the country. He commended the Chamber’s role in promoting investment in Pakistan and the meeting ended with furthering Nestlé collaboration with the Chamber.
