Kimihide Ando, Managing Director of Ando.K Limited and former President of OICCI, visited the Chamber on Feb 28, 2024, with a Japanese delegation to seek the OICCI's view on Pakistan’s business environment. The delegation, comprising Daiji Matsuoka, Hiroyuki Sakazume, Syed Usama Shakeel, Ryo Ueda, and Koji Yoshimoto of Nagase & Co., Ltd., met with OICCI Executive Director Kashif Shafi and Unilever Pakistan Company Secretary Aman Ghanchi.

The meeting deliberated upon the opportunities the country provides to foreign investors and the current economic challenges. The OICCI highlighted its members’ perspective on attractive sectors for FDI, such as IT and digital, manufacturing for export, and agriculture and corporate farming, as the top three.
