The IMF delegation, led by Ms. Iva Krasteva Petrova, Head of Mission to Pakistan, accompanied by Mr. Mahir Binici, Resident Representative in Pakistan, and Mr. Muhammad Ali, Office Manager, visited OICCI on September 24, 2025, for an interactive session. They were warmly received by OICCI President Yousaf Hussain and Executive Director Kashif Shafi.

The meeting brought together a diverse group of business leaders from multiple sectors to deliberate on the challenges faced by industry. Members actively engaged with the IMF team in a candid Q&A session covering tax reforms, tariffs, and broader fiscal and macroeconomic issues.

The session was attended by the top leadership of Pakistan’s private sector.
