Umar Ahsan Khan is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dawlance, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Turkish multinational Arçelik, a position he has held since 2019. A senior business leader with over 35 years of experience across finance, operations and corporate governance, he began his career at ICI Pakistan Limited in 1990.
He joined Dawlance in 2010 as Director Finance & Chief Financial Officer, where he led the negotiation and completion of its acquisition by Arçelik, and later served as Chief Operating Officer at Thal Engineering (House of Habib Group). Committed to strong governance and long-term value creation, Mr Khan is an Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman at NBP Funds and HRSG, and previously served on the board of Avanceon Limited.
He is Vice-Chairman of the Pakistan Electronics Manufacturers Association (PEMA), Vice President of the Marketing Association of Pakistan and a member of the Industrial Advisory Board of Habib University. Mr Khan holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE).
