In celebration of World Intellectual Property Day, the IPR Subcommittee of OICCI organized an insightful IPR Awareness Session focused on advancing Pakistan’s intellectual property landscape. The session explored ways to strengthen current IP practices, align with regional best practices, and create a more attractive environment for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

Key discussions highlighted the importance of effective Patent and Copyright Laws, and the vital roles played by IPOP, IP Tribunal Courts, DRAP, and other law enforcement agencies in supporting comprehensive IP protection and enforcement. By encouraging collaboration among stakeholders and enhancing our IP ecosystem, Pakistan is well-positioned to promote innovation, safeguard creators, and attract quality investments that drive sustainable economic growth.
