A delegation, led by Hajo Provó Kluit, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Islamabad, visited the OICCI and met with senior leadership to discuss Pakistan’s economic outlook and explore potential collaboration. The delegation, which also included Heske van Boekel, First Secretary for Economic Affairs, and Yasir Farooqui, Economic Consultant and Netherlands Honorary Consul in Karachi, engaged in valuable discussions about the challenges and opportunities shaping Pakistan’s economic future.

The conversation centered on key growth areas such as trade, investment, and sustainable development. While acknowledging the challenges, both sides recognized the immense potential for long-term growth and stability through innovation, strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts. The meeting reinforced the importance of deepening international cooperation to unlock new opportunities for mutual progress, navigate global challenges and create shared value for both nations.
