The IFC - International Finance Corporation team, including Rusmir Musić, Global Lead for Cooling Trust Fund; Tankut Erkan, Sr. Investment Officer and Regional Climate Lead; and Naz Khan, Principal Country Officer, IFC Pakistan, visited the OICCI to share their Green Building and Cooling Initiatives. They were welcomed by OICCI CE/Secretary General M Abdul Aleem, MC Member and ESG Subcommittee Co-Chair Andrew Bailey, and Executive Director Kashif Shafi.

During the session, the IFC team, including Private Sector Specialist Reshma Aftab, provided insights into their strategic priorities in Pakistan. The discussion focused on fostering low-carbon economic growth and resilience, particularly in the manufacturing and cold logistics sectors. They discussed their investment support and advisory services to facilitate the development of resource-efficient buildings and demonstrated the financial potential of the green buildings sector.
