Erum Shakir Rahim is Vice President and General Manager of GSK Pakistan, bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience across marketing, sales, communications, government affairs and general management.
Since joining GSK, she has led major acquisitions, launched innovative medicines and vaccines and strengthened the company’s market leadership. Her career spans senior roles in Malaysia, Brunei, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Pakistan, where she has built high-performing teams and navigated complex business, regulatory and stakeholder environments.
Erum is Co-Chairperson of Pharma Bureau, a founding member of the UK Pakistan Business Council and a former leader within OICCI and the Marketing Association of Pakistan.
She is a passionate advocate for people development and inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive. She holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and earned gold medals in both her BA (Honours) and MA, reflecting her commitment to excellence.
