The Chamber offers to its members a package of services that designed to promote the
growth and development of trade and industry, its range of services are varied and include :
INFORMATION:-
Disseminating information on the latest legislative
measures and changes in other statutory regulations
and measures in
provincial and central government policies pertaining
to all industrial and commercial issues such as labor
laws, industrial disputes, industrial licensing,
direct and indirect taxes and duties, import-export
policy, which are essential in the day-to-day running
of a business which help providing a basis for corporate
plans. |

REPRESENTATION:-
Members views and specific concern whether monetary issues, issues relating to development schemes, or arising from company law, labor matters, direct Indirect tax policies and their administration, import-export policies, power and fuel supply, telecommunications; are represented, and followed up with concerned authorities for timely redress. In so doing the Chamber is always guided by professional considerations.

ADVISORY SERVICES:-
Expert sub committees on corporate law, industry labor & commercial matters, insurance, port trust
& communications, taxation,
intellectual property rights, energy, environment, banking, pharmaceutical,
I.T E-commerce and UK Companies meet regularly to advise on points of common interest raised by members as well as to project their views to government agencies.

INTERACTION:-
Seminars and workshops on matters of topical interest such as amendments in company law, labor laws, finance act, environmental legislation as well as meetings with ministers, government officers and overseas trade representatives are arranged to exploit business opportunities and to share information and experiences, obtain clarifications and guidance at a level that is not readily available to all. The
Chamber also provides insight to these agencies on the overall problems and prospects of trade and industry. |

the Chamber publishes monthly newsletters, annual reports

TRADE ARBITRATION:-
The Chamber offers arbitration services to its
members for settling trade disputes speedily and for mutual satisfaction.
CERTIFICATION:-
Certificates of origin and measurement certification of invoices for purpose of export shipment are regularly issued. |
