What are the things a member can get certified/attested from the Certification Department?

Members can get Certificates of Origin, Invoices, Packing lists and other commercial documents attested for their export purposes.

Which documents are required at the time of certification/attestation?

Members must submit a copy of the Invoice and a copy of Form E (if you are a new customer) along with the Certificate of Origin.

What is the fee for certification?

The Department certifies your documents for a nominal fee of Rs.400 per document.

Will the Chamber certify invoices along with the Certificate of Origin in the aforementioned amount?

No. Members have to pay Rs.400 for each document. For instance, if the member wants the Chamber to certify the Certificate of Origin and the invoice both, it will amount to Rs.800.

Does the Chamber attest any other documents?

Yes it does, but it will also put a stamp stating, “We are not responsible for the contents of this document”, and the charges will be the same as mentioned above.

Can a member get blank Certificates of Origin from the Chamber?

Yes, members can get a set of 20 Certificates of Origin for a nominal fee of Rs.100, provided that he submits a written request for the same. The Chamber is authorized to accept or reject any requests in this context.

How can a company become a member of OICCI?

To become a member of OICCI, the company must be a multinational firm meeting the eligibility criteria. Please click here for information regarding the eligibility criteria.

If a company meets the criterion, what is the procedure?

If a company meets the mentioned criterion, they must then download the application form, click here to download , fill it and send it to the Chamber.

Are there any other formalities that need to be fulfilled apart from the form?

There are a few other documents that need to be submitted along with the application form by the company, they are all however mentioned in the form. Visa Services

How does the visa service of the Chamber function?

The Chamber provides a recommendation letter to the employees of its existing members for travelling to and from Pakistan, for business purposes. This letter helps in speeding up the visa processing time. This letter is only issued at the request of the member firm and a nominal fee of Rs.200 is charged per issuance.
